About
Tangobar project was born 8 years ago in Ljubljana as a small milonga. Since then it has developed and strengthened and now Tangobar is tango lessons, seminars with guest teachers, milongas and events.
Behind the project is its founder Olga Leonova.
She has been dancing, performing and teaching tango for more than 20 years all over the world. Many of her students are excellent dancers and already teach themselves.

Who I am
Greetings, I am Olga Leonova, a dedicated professional Argentine Tango dancer. My journey in the world of dance commenced as a rhythmic gymnast, and I later honed my skills at a dance academy, achieving remarkable success in numerous international competitions. However, in 2003, destiny led me to the enchanting realm of Tango, and since then, my life has been transformed. I had the privilege of being among the early proponents of Tango in Russia, and my performances have taken me to diverse corners of the globe. One of the most cherished moments of my career was when I received an invitation, along with Viacheslav Ivanov, to perform as non-Argentine Tango dancers in the very heartland of Argentine Tango, Buenos Aires itself. Dance is more than just a profession for me; it is my life's passion, and Argentine Tango is the dance form that resonates most deeply with my soul. Over the years, I have had the privilege of learning from numerous masters, including those whom I regard as the finest in the world, such as Mariano Chicho Frumboli and Juana Sepulveda. Today, I find my blissful home in Slovenia, a nation I consider my true homeland. Tango isn't just a dance for me; it's my life.
